They are a lousy outfit! They can't open a pool correctly and didn't install all the parts needed to run the pool!!! They dumped all the contents that was on the cover into the pool and cut the cover to get it out! They claimed it tore - how a brand new cover tears is beyond me. Left out parts to our polaris like the inline screen so it got clogged up with debris and had to be taken apart and cleaned. They never put in the valves that direct the amount of water that goes to either the skimmer or the drains at the bottom of the pool so 100% of the water is sucked from the skimmers. After they had the pool open, they only back washed the filter and didn't remove and properly clean the filter as it was completely dirty after removing the debris they dumped into the pool.
I am a new pool owner and when I told friends I needed pool supplies I heard the same thing over and over; " the pool supply stores are going to try to sell you a lot of things you don't need." Well I was surprised when I went to Sahara Pools and none of that happened. They helped me with what I asked for and didn't bother me when I was looking at the large variety of items they sold.

Some of the kids are not knowledgeable in what you need for your pool. A bit pricey.
First and last time! Very Expensive for pool closing!! to just put cover on, and clear lines.. didnt even clean my filter..wanted another $40 to rinse it off!! Never gave me a time frame of arrival, and didnt even let us know when they arrived. i called to complain, and was reminded they have been doing this for 40 years....the tone was a bit rude, and could really care less about keeping a customer. My business will go back to the small local business man.
Sahara Pools' service is great. I use them to open and close my pool. They make it easy; I can schedule online & don't have to be home. I was home when they came to close this year. I asked for assistance with a hose that was stuck. James & JC did a great job. I started using Sahara a few years ago after another company sold me a heater that didn't work. I couldn't get the other company to come back & finish the job. Sahara figured out the problem & got it working. I haven't had a problem since. Sahara always comes when they say they will.
