I was a patient of Somerset Pediatrics as a child. After having my own children there was only one place I would consider Somerset Pediatrics!
This is a great office. Each and every doctor here is knowledgeable, caring and kind. My daughter's pediatrician is Dr. Yorke who is wonderful. My daughter, who is not even 3, knows him by name and is happy to see him at every visit. SPG is very accomodating even when we need to see a doctor without an appointment. Every time I call the nurse's line for help, they call me back within less than an hour. They have several locations one of which is open late and on the weekends. It's very comforting especially for a first time mom to have such expertise so accessible whenever we need it.
My daughter did see Dr. Trend once and I was not happy at all with her bedside manner. Her attitude was very uncaring and aloof.
Do yourself a favor and do not make an appointment at Somerset Pediatrics. There are plenty of truly caring physicians in NJ, but there are none at Somerset Pediatrics. I found Trend to be by far the worst in the bunch. She treated me and my daughter as if were were dirty, ignorant fools.
We primarily go to the Lebanon office. We see Drs. Ferrante, Trend (who is awesome) and Fisher for the most part. They are all great. I feel very confident that we have made an excellent choice in Somerset Pediatrics.
My daughter and I moved from east New Jersey to Hunterdon county over 3 years ago. Her previous ped (since she was an infant) was located in Livingston and was affiliated with St. Barnabas. I would drive almost an hour for her appointments. Until I found Somerset Peds, I was not impressed with any physicians I found in Somerset or Hunterdon Counties. Dr. Yorke is wonderful. He is extremely intelligent and personable. I have a medical background and Im very selective. The Lebanon staff is the greatest. Very helpful and pleasant. I cant say enough how pleased I am with this office.
